Guy Ritchie: All By Myself

One can almost here the soft wispy music of Eric Carmen’s 1975 hit, ‘All by myself’ drifting through the night air as the newly divorced Guy Ritchie takes himself off for a solo dinner at a Liverpool (of all places) restaurant.

With all the loneliness (and who’d want to be lonely in Liverpool?) of Bridget Jones, Guy was spotted walking alone wearing a baker boy hat, grey cord trousers and a thick grey jacket to shield him against the chill of the English winter.

But even that can never equal the coldness of his now ex wife, Madonna, as she spends her new found freedom this weekend in New York with the couple’s three children visiting her local Kabbalah center.

With the decree nice having been issued this week the couple have just 6 weeks to change their minds before the divorce becomes final with a decree absolute.

This week, Guy gave up his rights to any of Madonna’s money or material wealth saying, “It was never about money – never about her bloody art collection. I just wanted to settle it and move on. I didn’t raise any objections at any stage until she insisted the children lived permanently in New York.”

It appears the Material Girl may just have let a very decent guy pass her by!
